Hey, I’m Umair
I’m a systems software engineer based in Cologne, Germany. Most of my work sits at the boundary of embedded Linux, firmware, wireless protocols, and edge infrastructure.
This blog is a collection of engineering notes turned into publishable write-ups: what I investigated, what failed, what changed the approach, and what finally worked. The input is usually a mix of documentation, source code, issue trackers, and practical debugging.
I generally spend more time defining the problem than implementing the fix. Clear constraints first, code second.
